So here’s the funny part.
When we started building the Gyro Menu, we kept uploading images, gyro close-ups, combo shots, that one perfect tzatziki drizzle photo we thought we’d use everywhere.
And before we knew it… the media library looked like a garage where every old photo comes to retire.
But here’s where DotSignage’s new update came in clutch.
At one point, we were trying to replace the hero image for the “Signature Gyro.”
We clicked into the media library… and boom – the same gyro wrap appeared seven times at slightly different angles.
We had to clean it up, fast.
So we simply:
- Clicked on the extra images
- hit delete
- watched the clutter disappear
No drama. No accidental removal of an image already on the menu.
Just clean, neat, and satisfying.
And honestly?
The moment we cleared out the junk, the workflow got so much smoother.
Because when your media library is tidy:
- You select the right image faster
- You stop re-uploading things you already uploaded
- You avoid confusion between “gyro-final.jpg,” “gyro-final-final.jpg,” and “gyro-real-final-this-time.jpg” 😅
- You keep only the images that actually belong on the menu
Once the useless images were gone, choosing assets for the Gyro menu felt like picking items from a curated shelf.
And that’s the beauty of this feature.
You can keep your menu workspace fresh by removing:
- Old seasonal images
- Discontinued items
- Outdated combos
- Wrong aspect-ratio photos
- Random assets your designer uploaded at 2 AM
It’s literally like giving your template editor a deep breath.
